When installed on caravans (or trailers) the system also utilises a DW transmitter and 7" Monitor with built-in DW receiver, meaning that there are no cables between the trailer/caravan and the tow vehicle. This also means that it's easy to utilise different tow vehicles, as the Monitor is 'portable'. Systems are particularly useful for reversing/reversing around corners and pulling out of gateways when your tow vehicle mirrors/extensions are next to useless.
