Trailer Vision 2 (TV2)

The peace of mind, security and confidence that your horse and trailer/box are safe in transit and when reversing without complicated installation. TV2 is a complete wireless (2.4GHz) camera and monitor system. The TV2 system is typically used in vehicle applications (12/24V) whether rigid body or trailer*. Easy installation: requires only the camera mounting to the vehicle and connecting the the vehicle electrical system; the monitor is usually mounted using the included windscreen mount and is powered from the cigarette lighter. The monitor can be used with multiple cameras (i.e. a camera to monitor the horse, a camera for reversing and even a 3rd camera** for that awkward to see area).

Typical Installation

Camera

The camera is usually mounted high in the box/trailer behind the horse. The bracket is adjustable for roof or wall use and is attached by bolts/self tapping screws (bolts/screws included)#. The aerial is either connected direct to the camera or the extension aerial is positioned separately and then connected to the camera. The camera is connected to the vehicle electrics by the red(live) wire and black (neutral) wire -The internal lighting circuit (supply side) is often a convenient source. That's it; the camera automatically adjusts for light levels and communicates with the monitor wirelessly.

The reversing camera (optional extra) is wired in the same way.

Monitor

The monitor mounts in the cab/vehicle using the windscreen suction mount (supplied) or alternative hard point fixing (not supplied). The monitor plugs into the cigarette lighter socket (cable/fittings supplied). That's it; the monitor picture can be adjusted for brightness, orientation and camera source (when used with multiple cameras).
