Reversing / Hitching Camera
The Hitching / reversing camera is a discrete (wired) camera that is positioned at the back of you vehicle to make hitching to a trailer, or just reversing, simple and safe. No need to have a second person marshalling you into position, no more reversing by mirrors, no more reversing into things/people/animals that you just didn't see. The camera fits to any vehicle with 12V power supply for use as a reversing camera or as a hitching aid with any trailer/caravan. The picture is displayed on any monitor (PAL) with a 'AV-in' function (such as the Trailer vision TV2 system).
A safety feature for experienced drivers - indispensable for new/occasional drivers.

Key Features:
- Discrete CMOS Camera (colour - wide angle view)
- 9 IR LEDs for night vision (auto activated, monochrome image)
- Weather proof (IP67)
- Powered by 12V (vehicle electrics)
What's Included

- Camera
- Power/Av cable
- 5m RCA extension cable (camera to monitor connection)
- Wedge spacers for versatile mounting
- Fixing screws
- Male/female RCA adaptor
Typical Installation
Moderate difficulty.
Mount the camera as required (the higher the better as long as the tow ball remains visible). The camera requires screwing or bonding into place. The pigtail lead needs to be fed into the vehicle and connects to the power/AV cable . The power leads (red and black) are connected to the vehicle electrical supply. The RCA extension lead connects to the power/AV cable and is routed around the vehicle to the monitor. The RCA extension lead can either plugs directly into the monitor or via an adaptor (the adaptor for the TV2 monitor is supplied with the TV2 monitor, see TV2 page).
Recommendation
The reversing / hitching camera is recommended for light vehicles for fitting by a professional or someone that is confident that the task is within their ability.
For larger vehicles or vehicles running on 24V we recommend the TV2 system .
