What is the difference between Trailer Vision (TV1) and Trailer Vision 2 (TV2)?

- TV1 has a smaller screen, mains power adapters, external battery pack (for camera) and sound. TV2 has a larger 7" display and wide angle lens camera, it is powered by the vehicle/lorry/trailer electrics (12/24V) or mains adapters and has no sound.

Can anyone install the systems?

- Yes! A screwdriver is normally the only tool that you will require, but a drill may be required to install the camera on to metal roofs/walls. TV2 requires the electrical power connection of positive (red) and negative (black) wires.

Where is the best place to install the camera?

- Ideally at the rear of the horse(s) and as high as possible, this gives the best 'field of view'.

What if I don't want to drill my trailer wall/roof?

- No problem, the camera mount can be screwed/bolted to a piece of perspex/wood and then this can be 'bonded' (try No plate adhesive tape) to the trailer roof/wall.

What if I decide that I need additional camera's, or if I didn't order a part of the system that I would now like?

- No problem, you can order any part of the system at any time, but remember if you buy the full package, all together, you receive a package discount.

Is the system water proof?

- Yes, both cameras (TV1 and TV2) are water proof although it is recommended that you avoid direct spraying by pressure washers etc.

Is there a 'reversing camera' available for the system?

- Yes, the TV2 camera can be used as a reversing camera and incorporates a wide angle lenses. The TV1 and TV2 cameras are compatible with both the TV1 and TV2 monitors.

I've heard that wireless systems suffer from interference?

- The systems use proven technology, that works for the vast majority of our customers. On the rare occasion that there has been some interference it can usually be overcome by using a different channel (Trailer Vision cameras are available in 3 different channels). Some makes of bluetooth systems can cause interference. If you experience difficulties see our returns policy.

How quickly do you deliver?

What is your returns policy?

- If you are not completely happy with the system and you return it within 30days in the condition that it was received then we will give you a complete refund (excluding postage). Both systems also comes with a 1-year, no-quibble, replacement warranty.
