Digi-Max™ utilises the latest, interference free, digital wireless (DW) technology and can be employed as a reversing camera system, and/or for viewing your load/horses etc. The colour LCD monitor can be used with up to 4 waterproof, wide angle lens, cameras.

The peace of mind, security and confidence that your load/horse and trailer/vehicle are safe in transit and/or when reversing, without complicated installation. DW systems are typically used in vehicle applications (12 or 24V) whether rigid body or trailer*.

Digi-Max™ can also be used with 'Digi-Hitch™' a DW hitching camera system.

asy installation in as little as 10 minutes, as Digi-Max™ only requires the camera mounting to the vehicle and connection to the the vehicle/trailer electrical system.The monitor is mounted using the included windscreen mount (or dashboard mount) and is powered from the vehicle cigarette lighter (hard-wire adapter also available). The monitor can be used with multiple cameras (ie a camera to monitor the load/horse, a camera for reversing and even a 3rd/4th camera** for that awkward to see area). Being digital means you get a crystal clear, interference free image wherever you are (see below).

Why digital? Because the signal transmission is both pre and post processed, the digital wireless receiver (inside the monitor) is able to filter out all external interference. External interference can occur from many sources: other camera systems, Bluetooth devices, wireless internet networks, or anything else using the 2.4GHz frequency range. This is not usually a significant problem for analogue systems (TV101, TVSN) unless the interference source is powerful, or very close to the monitor/receiver (ie inbuilt into the vehicle/dashboard). However, DW systems eliminate all interference giving a stable and clear picture all the time. Additionally, the picture transmission can only be viewed by a paired DW system making it more secure.

Typical Installation

Camera

The camera is usually mounted high in the box/trailer behind the horse, but it can mounted wherever is convenient. The bracket is adjustable for roof or wall use and is attached by bolts/self tapping screws (bolts/screws included)#. The aerial is connected directly to the rear of the camera. The camera is connected to the vehicle electrics by the red (live) wire and black (neutral) wire. The internal lighting circuit (supply side) is often a convenient power source. That's it; the camera automatically adjusts for light levels and communicates with the monitor wirelessly.

The reversing camera is wired in the same way; connect to the reversing light for automatic monitor operation (when reverse gear engaged - single camera system).

Monitor

The monitor mounts in the cab/vehicle using the windscreen suction mount (supplied) or the dashboard mount (supplied) can be used. The monitor plugs into the cigarette lighter socket (cable/adapter supplied), or can be hard-wired with an additionally available adapter (not included). That's it, the monitor picture can be adjusted for brightness, image quality (VQA/QVGA) and camera source when used with multiple cameras (quad view***, or manual camera selection).

*** Quad View, is the monitor showing 4 seperate camera images at the sime time, ie the screen is divided into 4 parts, if for example only 2 cameras are operating then 2 of the 4 parts would be blank.
